Swami Vivekananda saw the hope for the progress of our Nation in the young eyes of children. Most of the Ramakrishna Mission centre conduct educational programmes to inculcate the right values at the right age.

With this head start, such boys and girls have found to be invariably strong in the right pursuit of the rest of education as well as career and lifestyle - a character transforming headstart that turns out to be a blessing for the individual, the family and the community.

Overview

The Ramakrishna Vidya Kendra is a co-educational primary school for the students living in nearby localities and villages.

The Kendra will have classes from standard I through standard 5 (and later Standard 7), following the Andhra Pradesh State Board syllabi.

This is a day school and has no residential facilities either for the students or the staff.

When fully operational, projected for the year 2009, the school will have a strength of about 300 students.

The staff, under the guidance of a well qualified Head Master and working with the Monks, will deliver quality education and value orientation to the students.

A yearly fee will be charged. However, liberal scholarships funded by the generous donations of devotees and admirers from within our Country and world over will be awarded to deserving candidates.

The Infrastructure will used for Evening Free Coaching for Classes 9 & 10 for deserving poor students nearby.

Developmental Plans

The foundation stone of Ramakrishna Vidya Kendra will be laid early 2007 as per plans. The construction of the building and completing the necessary infrastructure is targetted for the year 2009. The pre-primary sections will become operational by end of year 2008. More details will be announced soon.

An Appeal

Vidhya daanam is a pious duty of one and all. We sincerely appeal to all generous public to donate liberally for the building construction as well as the operational costs of the Vidya Kendra. Individual student's education can also be sponsored. All donations are exempt under Section 80G of the Income Tax Act.
