Vision

The Institute seeks to strengthen faith in ourself through Vedanta values and traditions as espoused by Swami Vivekananda, so that the best of human excellence manifests in us in various dimensions of our personality.

Swami Vivekananda specifically sought to reach out to the youth and interested members of our society to make the difference through the reinforcement of 'man making character and nation building' values.

Programmes Offered

While the Institute itself is under construction in the new campus, several programmes are being offered round the year while others will be started in the near future. These programmes include:

One day Personality development(PD) workshops focused on Youth for Value Orientation.
Personality Development Certificate courses of fixed duration of 4 to 8 days
Personality Development residential retreats - 4 to 7 days.
3 month Spoken English courses (for men and women) of 2 hour duration for 3 days a week
One month yoga training course of daily 1 hour duration, only for men.

The Institute is being equipped with a latest library of books and multimedia materials for information on the above subjects When fully operational in 2009, it will be graduating about 4000 participants annually.

PERSONALITY DEVELOPMENT PROGRAMMES FOR YOUTH --- 11 and 13 SEPTEMBER 2006
Swami Bodhamayanandaji, an expert in conducting personality development programmes etc., is a monk of the Ramakrishna Order, now staying at Ramakrishna Mission Ashrama, T Nagar, Chennai. He conducts Workshops on personality development and related topics like Success through positive thinking; Self confidence and self esteem; Fear its cause and remedy; Self discovery process; Leadership skills; etc. So far he has conducted more than 450 programmes in Chennai and several parts of the country benifitting a large cross section of people, with special focus on youth.
The Swamiji conducted the following programmes in December 2005 at:
12th :: Nirmala English Medium School and Guru Raghavendra School
13th :: Regional Business Office, SBI and Nagarjuna Junior College
14th :: Subbireddy College and Vikas Degree College

Admission Policy

These programmes are open to all irrespective of their background, sex, religion or age. However, those with a positive belief that these programmes - the goals and values - will help them in their personal lives, get to have a higher privilege in the admission.

A nominal course fee to cover the operational costs will be charged. Participants are expected to adhere to the conduct guidelines during the course of the programme.

You are most welcome to participate in these programmes. In addition, you can also volunteer to help run some of them. We would be very grateful for that.
