Inauguration of the Mission Campus 2008

Inauguration of the Annual Celebrations 2008

Rev. Swami Prabhanandaji Maharaj,General Secretary of Ramakrishna Math and Mission Worldwide, inaugurated the Annual Celebrations 2008. Also present were Rev. Swami Gauthamanandaji Maharaj, President Ramakrishna Math, Chennai and Sri Ramana Reddy.

A agricultural training programme for rural poor was conducted as part of the Annual Celebrations.

Inauguration of
Ramakrishna Balakashramam

Rev. Swami Prabhanandaji Maharaj,General Secretary of Ramakrishna Math and Mission Worldwide, inaugurated the Ramakrishna Balakashramam on March 13th 2008. He also unveiled a stone plaque commemorating the occasion.

Vivekananda Mandapam

Rev. Swami Harshanandaji Maharaj, President of Ramakrishna Math, Bangalore, inaugurated the Vivekananda Mandapam on Dec 2nd 2007. He also performed a sacred puja and the arathi.

Inauguration of Vivekananda Sabhanganam

Rev Swami Harshanandaji Maharaj, President of Ramakrishna Math, Bangalore inaugurated the Vivekananda Sabhanganam on Dec 2nd 2007. Dr. K. Subramanyam gave a wonderful discourse on the occasion.

Student's Home Inaugurated

Sri P.Ramana Reddy, Trustee, Vijay Health Center , Chennai inaugurated a free students' home at this ashrama for economical challenged high school boys from rural areas on 24th June 2007 with an initial intake of ten students. Rev. Swami Gauthamanandaji presided. .

Balakashrama Uniform Distribution

On 12th Aug 2007 Revered Swami Atmavidanandaji gave away Mission Uniforms, books and other educational accessories to the resident students of the Balakasharama. .

Foundation Stone Laid

(For poor meritorious high school students
from rural areas)

The foundation for this building (estimated to cost Rs.49.00 Lakhs) was laid on 12 July 2006 by Srimat Swami Amritanandaji Maharaj, Secretary, Ramakrishna Mission Ashrama, Vishakapatnam

Rakakrishna Vivekananda Exhibition Inaugurated

On 24th June 2007 day Revered Swami Gautamanandaji, Chennai inaugurated a permanent RAKAKRISHNA VIVEKANANDA EXHIBITION in the campus. .

Ramakrishna Math's Narayana Seva

The Narayana Seva in the form of distribution of Milk (made from milk powder & sugar) and biscuits daily to the nearby poor children of the nearby locality of this Math was started on 23rd December 2005 (Holy Mother’s birth day) and the same is being continued till date. Daily in the Morning milk is distributed to 60 and 80 small children. The Swamijis of the Ashrama and the volunteers take keen interest in the programme.

We see progress in their health and brightness in the young faces. This has transformed their behaviour too.

Our Thanks to the Donors of the Milk Powder (M/s. Share & Care foundation,USA) and the donors as also the local volunteers who are helping us in the work.

Formal Inauguration of this Website

Rev. Swami Shivamayanandaji, Asst. General Secretary, Ramakrishna Math and Mission, Belur Math, formally inaugurated this website on 12 Dec 2006. He addressed the gathering urging them to spread the word.

New Campus Inaugurated

The new campus of the new Ramakrishna Math and Ramakrishna Mission, Kadapa, was inaugurated by Rev. Swami Smarananandaji Maharaj (General Secretary, Ramakrishna Math & Mission Worldwide) and Rev. Swami Gauthamanandaji Maharaj (President, Ramakrishna Math, Chennai) on 26 Aug 2005.

Vivekananda's Inspiration for Development of Youth Awakening)

Seeking to inculcate values among the youth, under the programme, our monks and trained volunteers conduct work-shops in educational institutions in rural areas. For this purpose, a mobile unit / van is being used, equipped with audio-visual aids, exhibition panels and books on Swami Vivekananda.

Several students from local rural schools attended the programme. The immediate impact on them was palpable.

. This programme was inaugurated at Sarvodaya ZP High School, Mantapampalli (a village about 30 kms. from Kadapa) on 14 July 2006.
