An Appeal for Funds

You are most welcome to visit our Center. You can contribute in various ways - your time, your resources, your expertise as well as in the form of donations to the various causes.

The New Campus Infrastructure development is based on the munificience of a large number of devotees of Sri Ramakrishna from around our Country and the World. Donations to the Ramakrishna Mission are exempt under Section 80G of the Income Tax Act.

Directions for the New Campus

The New Campus of the Ramakrishna Math and Mission is under construction. You can read periodic updates on this here .

This campus is located in Putlampalli, adjacent the Palamkonda Pilgrimage and Nature spot near RIMS Medical College. It is about 10 Kms from the current Math and Mission centre and about 5kms from the Railway Station. Take the route to Palamkonda from the Kadapa city to visit the New Campus Centre (Most locals know the route).

Road Routes

From Bangalore About 260 Kms. Via Hoskote, Chintamani or Kolar, Madanapalle and Rayachoti. On reaching Kadapa ask for One-Town Police Station or Chennur Bus Stand - it in the centre of Town.

From Kadapa Railway Station About 5 Kms. Take the Railway Station road, then at 7-roads junction move towards one-town police station and then the Chennur Bus Stand.

From Chennai Via Thiruvalur, Renigunta

Railway Routes

From Chennai 260 kms. All trains going towards Mumbai stop at Kadapa.

From Hyderabad 501 kms. Direct trains are Venkatadri Express, Rayalaseema Express, Kachiguda – Egmore Chennai Express.

Air Routes The nearest commercial Airport is Tirupati. Kadapa is about 140 kms by road from Tirupati.

Kadapa's Famous Temples

Devvunikadapa This famous Sri Vekateshwara Temple is about 3kms from the Math. Devotees proceeding to Thirumala via Kadapa stop by this temple to offer prayers and partake the blessings.

Ontimitta This Ramalayam Temple is about 25 Kms from Kadapa on the Chennai Route. The great Telugu poet Potthana wrote the Srimad Bhagavatam in Telugu here.

Sri Veerabhadreshwara Swamy Temple Popular amongst the Kadapa citizens. It is located on the Mydukur-Proddutur main Road.

Palamkonda This famous picturesque nature spot with seasonal waterfall in the hillocks behind the New Campus has a Shiva and Vishnu temple.

The famous telugu Saint and devotional composer, Sri Annamayacharya, hails from Kadapa district.
